A one-day conference for science educators, teachers, policy makers and the wider science community aims to strengthen the quality of science education in New Zealand.
The event will be held by the New Zealand Council of Educational Research (NZCER) on October 21, 2014. Please see below for more details.
Science for citizenship is the goal for all learners in The New Zealand Curriculum. This conference will draw on recent New Zealand research findings on science education, in particular, innovative practice and helpful resources for science teachers. It will explore the aims of science education, and what we want it to provide for our students.
‘Building future-oriented science education in Aotearoa New Zealand’ is a one-day conference to be held at Rydges Hotel, Featherston St, Wellington.
